When it comes to the best weight loss diets you would need to specifically look at three elements which will not only help you lose weight, however to make you lose weight without side effects.

Let’s start and talk about these three elements:

  • Ease of incorporation
  • Good fats

Let us expand on each of these so you know what I mean:

The diet must be very natural and give you food that are as natural as possible. What I mean by natural is that the foods you will be eating must consist of natural foods not are not artificial.

The next step is to check if the diet you are eating is will be easy to incorporate into your lifestyle or not.

If the diet is very hard you will take a long time for you to be able to reach your weight loss goals that you are looking for.

The diet mus also be well-known to have helped people in the past, this would work.

Ironically most people think that a weight loss diet must not include any fats in it as they deem fats bad.

Well, although this is true, but it is not 100% true as some fats are actually needed for you to lose weight, but the problem is to knowing the right food.

The good fats are those that will help with building your body not inflating them with fats.

For example some good fats are natural and they are:

  • Avocado
  • Oily fish
  • nuts
  • Chia seeds

The first diet that is famous and the most effective in helping people lose weight is a vegan diet.

A vegan diet is a diet which excludes meat and dairy products in its plates and deals only with plant foods.

A vegan diet is divided into many categories which you can check on the article called vegan diet for beginners.

When I talk about vegan diet please do not be mistaken and think this includes a vegetarian diet. I am talking strictly vegan.

The reason I am saying this is because some people focus on a vegetarian diet to lose weight, which is very valid however it is not as nearly effective as a vegan diet.

This is due to the food limitations in the vegan diet.

The vegan diet is effective for weight loss because of the following reasons:

  • The vegan diet is filled with a lot of natural food (mainly plants or fruits and veggies) which are not harmful at all.
  • The vegan diet is filled with the good and natural fats that you are mainly eating all day long.

You will notice that I listed two factors which make this diet good and I did not include one.

I did not include ease of incorporation of this diet to a persons’s lifestyle and this is because the vegan diet is one of the hardest to follow.

However it does have the other tow characteristics. Besides this the vegan diet has many other benefits which outweigh weight loss.

These benefits are the following:

  • Helping decrease and reverse heart diseaes
  • Helping to improve your overall welbeing
  • Helping with making you look younger.

The next second best diet for weight loss is the keto diet. According to HealthLine a keto diet is a low carb and high fat diet.

This exactly fits our criteria of a diet which you need for weight loss as I mentioned above.

When a person chooses a keto diet they are letting the body do ketosis which is what happens when the body switches to using fats instead of carbs for producing energy to a person.

This than allows your body to shred the excessive fat in your body.

This is the reason this diet works wonders for many people who are trying to lose weight.

  • The keto diet uses fats in the body for fuel so this is our ultimate goal.
  • The diet is easy to implement or incorporate into our lifestyle (as you are not sacrificing a lot of food).
  • the diet has natural food.

For the most part maintain and sticking to this diet can be hard especially if you are starting out so I would advise you get a program or plan that can help you.

I have been in this diet for 2 years before turning completely to a vegan diet.

The Mediterranean diet is where you merely focus on eating like the Greeks, whereby you are eating fish, chicken and fruits and vegetables.

You can already see that fish has good fats along with chicken so it is no brainier why most people turn to it.

This diet is famous for curing heart diets due to these good fats in its food. According to MSN this diet has been the most popular in these recent years.

My recommendation

While I can not outright tell you which diet to focus on I can advise you how to go about it.

If you are looking to lose weight these diets are absolutely the way to go, however you need to make them a lifelong lifestyle to see the results.

You can also go a step further and supplement these with some weight loss programs such as the underground fat loss program or the 2 week diet.

Both these programs do incorporate some of these diets in their plan so you should stick with the one you like.

I like having programs with diets because it is like having a super car when it comes to reaching your goals.

    I have tried all of these diets and can recommend them. Starting something new is always the hardest part but after a couple of weeks, you get into the swing of it and the good eating habits begin to form. Great post, thank you so much for sharing!

    Hi, Thabo,

    I’ve gone through a myriad of diets. The problem with many diets is it’s hard to stick with them. They’re not sustainable in the long run. You can do it for a few weeks/months, lose some weight and then return to your old habits. It’s very disheartening.

    I’ve been thinking of trying another regimen. Regarding the Keto diet, I’ve heard it’s hard to reach ketosis and this diet can cause some health issues.

    I have a few vegan friends, but honestly I don’t think I’d ever go vegan.

    I think the Mediterranean diet could be a good option for me. I’ll look into it.
