I have recently been on a health kick and have been limiting my sugar intake along with other things. However, I like drinking coffee and adding a flavored creamer to it. I’m not much of a fan of the actual coffee taste! It has been difficult trying to find a creamer without additives and/or sugar, so I was shocked to read that most creamers are vegan. (I think being vegan means you are more health conscious than others.) Maybe I’ll look into creamers that say they are for vegans. I’m guessing they taste good without all the additives and sugars. But is sugar allowed to be eaten if you’re a vegan? I’m guessing yes. So, again, I’m not sure which creamer to choose.
Thanks for the article, though. I did learn that most creamers are vegan.

    Hi Thabo,
I found it interesting to learn if coffee creamer is vegan or not. I have not really given it much thought, but maybe because I don’t try to stay on a vegan diet. However, I am concerned about the trans fats in the coffee creamers, so I drink my daily cup of coffee black.
I have on very rare occasions added some creamer, but my preference is black. I also have some creamer on hand for friends who can’t stand black coffee. But, I am not sure if it is vegan. It says it is non-dairy creamer, so I would think it would be vegan. Maybe just to be sure I will have to check the label. Thanks for giving me some food for thought!
