This means that vision boards will always differ from person to person always. I personally use things like images and mostly I like to use videos.
This is because for me I always want to see a physical representation of the thing that I will achieve as opposed to others who may only need to see a just words or a 2d image.
So what are your preferences? Make one that fits your needs and personality.
Materials for your vision board
There are many ways you can go about making your vision board as there are no set rules at all that you need to abide by.
This means that you will also be able to be free to use anything that will give you the best results or boost for your confidence.
Just to give you an idea I have included some materiel you can use as a guide like for creating your vision board.

- Push pins to attach things on your board
- Sticky notes for writing affirmations etc.
What should be on your vision board?
The board you create can be as creative as you want, however there are some core things that you really need to ensure your board consists of.
These are the foundation of your vision board and will guide you through as you are working towards your goals.
Without these core things then you may not even need a vision board. I will list things that you need below.
- Your main goal for weight loss
- Your short and long term goals withing your main goal.
- The time period it will be achieved.
- Words and affirmations for your goals.
- Photos and images for your goals.
- Checklist to help you with your progress.
How to create a vision board
In this section I will go over the practical way you can make your own weight loss vision board so that you will not have any issues if you are clueless and have never done this before.
- Step 1: Start by the pictures you aspire to be like
In this step you will need to first look for the representatives of the things that you are looking to ensure that your body will look like.
This will mean that you will need to get pictures of people that represent the image that you are trying to get to or the goal that you are looking to achieve.
For this step it will be wise to look for images that are not too far off at first so that you will help your mind not feel you are targeting something that is not attainable.
You can also look for the clothes you will be wearing once you have achieved that goal.
- Step 2: Believe you have achieved it
This is the most vital part of this process as it means that you will be engaging you subconscious mind which is what will help you achieve the goal faster.
For this that is where affirmations come in on your vision board.
You will need to put these on the board so that every time you look at your board it will help you speak your goals into life.
- Step 3; Road map
The road mad will help you have actionable steps that will make your goals realistic and you will need to see this daily so you will see where you are going.
This will include the steps you will need to take to reach your goal and this will include the lifestyle changes you will have like eating well and doing good exercise overall.
- Track your progress
This part will be basically where you are checking regularly how far you are with your goals and these can be weekly or monthly depending on you.
You can put a spreadsheet on your board or something similar.
This will be vital for your whole accomplishment as it will show that you are not wasting any time at all when it comes to your goals.

Once you have made your board the vital thing is to ensure you keep updating it especially once you have reached some of your short term goals.
This will really help you reach your goals easily as you will know where you are and what you need to fix a long the way.
