I will even go as far as to say you need to change your diet if it is necessarily or if you can do so.

According to solutions for living at home seniors tend to eat junk food because of the fact that they are often lazy to cook a nutritious meal (there energy levels are not the same as before).

The other reason is that seniors have diminished tasted buds which cause them to crave even the most sugar filled foods.

As a 50-year old it is vital to ensure you focus on a diet which will help you keep your weight off.

I know this because my father has always been thin since he was a child until he reached 49 years old. In fact many people were shocked to see the weight he had gained.

Relieving stress is what I want to stress that you should follow (Excuse the pun).

Stress is the worst thing which could happen to any person who is above 50 years old due to the fact that their body will be easily effected.

According to a new study by Livescience.com it revealed that stress is the most dangerous tool which can deteriorate the body in one go whereby your gums and your whole system will be very susceptible to many disease.

The good thing is that we can all control our stress if we deice to and all it takes is engaging on activity which will keep you happy mostly.

These could include:

  • Being around people who make you happy
  • meditating
  • doing our passion.

    I must say I have to agree with everything you said. Proper eating, some kid of physical exercise and an active lifestyle is what keeps me from gaining the fat back. The bottom line is we now eat way too much for the activities we do on a daily basis. Our bodies are so efficient that it tries to store the energy for later like in the cave man days. Then add all the wheat products, processed foods and the sugar, no wonder everyone is over weight.
    You give great advise for anyone wanting to lose those pounds.
