Well most people ask these questions on an almost daily basis and I had also asked me self this several times. After doing a lot of digging I finally found the answer that only some fruits are effective. So today I will be talking about what fruits help you lose weight effectively?

So before I start with what fruits help you lose weight it is vital for you to know why fruits work well according to science and research.

Fruits are one of the best ways to lose weight because in their nature they already have high amounts of fiber in them.

Fiber is vital for helping you lose weight because it helps you stay and feel fuller for a long time as confirmed by mayoclinic. This can curb the habit of over snacking.

More than this these fruits are ready-made snack which you can replace those unhealthy snacks which cause you to be fat.

Fruits also have low calories and fat which helps the weight loss process even further.

However, to be able to do this effectively (the losing weight part) you would have to focus on the best fruits for this.

This is because some may have hidden high sugar which will cause you to pack on weight.

1. Mango

When it comes to the worst fruits to incorporate into your diet mangoes are certainly to be avoided.

I know you may be one of those people who is in love with mango but I do want to tell you that you will help yourself by doing this.

Mangoes have a high sugar content in them compared to other normal fruits and they can also contribute to diabetes if they are eaten excessively.

However please note that I am talking about the ripe kind of mango as they are the ones with high sugar and calories.

I have to be honest that mangoes are my favorite fruits to eat however I am always cautious when eating them.

2. Raisins

Raisins are also another type of fruit which people tend to overlook. This is because it is never mentioned as a fruit.

However, Raisins are basically dried fruits with added sugar. In fact the true essence is that raisins are dried grapes.

Raisins are not good for weight loss especially if eaten in excess because the calories per 100g packet is 300.

Added on top of this is the sugar content in the raisins which you need to consider too. This combination of sugar and calories is what causes weight gain.

This is the reason that the regular peanuts with raisin combination is dangerous for weight loss.

In fact I remember myself and my girlfriend having this problem of weight gain without knowing. WE later found out that it was duet to the peanuts and raisins.

3. Avocado

The reason it is here is that avocado has always been a double-edged sword due to the fact that it can cause weight loss however if taken daily can cause weight gain.

Reason behind this is because avocado is a healthy type of fats since it comes naturally from mother earth unlike other fats and oils like olive oil and canola oil.

We should all know the dangers of eating too much fats or oil.

4. Potato

When it comes to food which add calories potatoes are by far the number 1 culprit due to its huge amounts of calories.

More than this the way potatoes are prepared are what causes lots of problems when it comes to weight gain.

Potatoes pack about 77 grams (g) of calories per 100 grams.

More than this potatoes are a starch meaning that they could cause more danger than just weight gain.

According to healthline starchy foods are the cause of blood sugar levels to spike in the body which causes diabetes overtime.

The best way to help reduce this effect is to basically do what I normally do, which is to bake the potato in the oven.

Sultanas are basically similar to raisins with them being made of dried grapes however the only difference is that sultanas are from green grapes.

These are basically produce the same results as raisins in your body when it comes to causing weight so you need to ensure you are cautious with these too.

When it comes to losing weight it is vital to ensure that one does not eat food or a diet packed with calories and lots of sugar as this will cause more weight gain.

Most people know that fruits and veggies are a great way to help with losing weight and they do incorporate them as their weight loss strategy.

However, the problem is that not all fruits are good for weight loss and most people do not know this.

This is the reason most people end up packing more fruits into the bodies which will not serve them.
