This means that it is not totally safe.

Claim 3: “Potassium is the main component of the 14-day rapid soup diet. It will help you maintain a better artery structure so the lymphatic system can work better.”

According to Medical texts, arterial structure and lymphatic system are two separate drainage systems. Thus, the artery structure does not directly impede lymphatics.

Claim 4: “Magnesium is another main ingredient in the soup recipes. This works by improving the condition of the mind. Many people eat because of nervousness, and Magnesium can help these kinds of people.”

According to Medscape, Magnesium is a membrane stabilizer and is not directly related to improving the condition of the mind.

Claim 5: “Collagen is a protein-based nutrient. It will help the body increase metabolism and reduce body fats.

This is because of some associated health issues it could bring as we talked about before.

    I’ve actually heard of this diet before, my hubby came home excited to tell me all about it before we went on a cruise last year and he wanted to drop some weight.

    I want to mention a few things about this diet though, or any diet for that matter. While most people are looking for rapid weight loss, there are usually problems associated with this.

    When my hubby wanted to follow this, I had to switch it up a bit in order to not deprive our bodies of the standard nutrients and calories they’re supposed to get.
    Limiting calories to the point of deprivation can have dire consequences once someone tries to go back to their normal eating habits. Meaning, if you restrict your foods too much, even for a short period of time – 14 days – after that 14 days, you’re now wanting to eat more to make up for the deficit you faced during those 2 weeks.

    2 weeks isn’t detrimental, by any stretch, but let’s say someone is constantly eating 2500 calories a day, and then they attempt to eat only 1000 calories a day. Depriving the body suddenly of 1500 calories is going to make you feel extremely hungry, deprived and have cravings that you didn’t normally have before the diet. Then, after the short 14 day window, you now want to eat all the things you couldn’t, now you’re going into wanting more than the 2500 initially, so instead they start to eat 3000 calories a day.
    You can see this can have consequences over the long run, especially for yo-yo dieters.

    What I did, was still eat my normal foods during the day, yes, even a cookie if I wanted it. Then at night, I made soups for dinner. Soup digests quickly, and without adding additional carbs, like potatoes, rice or noodles, we didn’t go to bed full. It didn’t have the results my hubby wanted, but no diet ever does unless you’re very strict with them. Unfortunately, the weight will pack back on once you stop the diet.

    Good article though and very insightful for anyone wanting to try this out. I would recommend more of a healthy lifestyle change overall over temp diets though. That’s the hard part – changing things for good.

      It is good to hear your feedback on this subject and I want to say that is the actual reason I said that the program is a scam and in all forms.
      Even of you see that the science does not even align with all the claims in the program.

      I also do not like the fact that 14 days is being used to sell and tell people that they will be able to lose weight in such a short period of time.

      I do not like programs which are said to promise unrealistic results.

After reading this, I would be curious to try the program, but probably only if the ebook was priced a little lower. $15 seems like a lot for a program that – as you pointed out – probably doesn’t provide the promised results, even though it seems like it might still help you get used to healthier eating and get into some healthier eating habits, and might help you drop a couple of pounds in the process.
